Who we are
MalaysiaProp (malaysiaprop.tech) publishes Malaysian property price data. For any privacy question or request, email hello@malaysiaprop.tech.
What we collect
- When you sign in with Google: your name, email address and profile picture, as shared by Google.
- If you fill in the short form after signing in: what you are looking for (buying, selling, investing), the area, your timeline, and — only if you choose — your phone/WhatsApp number and permission to be contacted.
- Places, projects and areas you save or follow, so we can show your watchlist and send the updates you asked for.
- Basic usage: pages viewed, searches and clicks on this site, linked to a random browser ID, to understand what is useful.
How we use it
- To run your account, watchlist and follow alerts.
- To send you email updates you subscribed to. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
- If you ticked “OK to contact me”, a registered real estate negotiator working with MalaysiaProp may contact you about buying or selling. We do not contact you otherwise.
- To improve the site and measure our advertising.
We do not sell your personal data.
Cookies, analytics and advertising
We use cookies to keep you signed in and to remember settings such as dark mode.
- Google Analytics measures how the site is used.
- Meta Pixel measures visits from our Facebook and Instagram ads. If you enter a phone number on this site, the pixel may send a one-way hashed (scrambled) copy of it to Meta to match ad results; Meta does not receive the number in plain text.
- Google AdSense may show ads on some pages. Google and its partners use cookies to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can turn off personalised ads at adssettings.google.com.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site still works, but you will be signed out.
Who we share it with
Service providers that run the site for us: Google (sign-in, analytics, ads), Meta (ad measurement), Cloudflare (hosting and security), our server host, and our email provider. They process data only to provide those services.
How long we keep it
Account data is kept while your account is active. Delete requests are completed within 30 days.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or withdraw permission to be contacted, by emailing hello@malaysiaprop.tech from the address you signed in with. This follows Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010.
